The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia / Municipal District of Frenaros and the families of the heroes Nikos Ttofis, Dimitris Vrakas, Loukas Tsolakkis, Kyriakos Kamilaris, Theodoros Tsomallouris and Yasoumi Kile held today, Sunday, October 6, 2024, the National Memorial at the Holy Church of Archangel Michael in Frenaros.
The memorial service was presided over by Archimandrite Ieronymos Pyliotis, while the Head of Humanitarian Issues, Missing and Imprisoned Ms. Anna Aristotelous delivered a memorial speech.
This was followed by Trisagio and the laying of wreaths at the Frenarous Heroes Monument.
The wreath was laid by, among others, the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos, as well as the Vice-Mayor of Frenarous, Mr. Kostas Michael.
