The feast of Archangel Michael was celebrated with particular splendor on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Frenaros.
The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, which was celebrated in the Church of Archangel Michael, presided over by the Pan-Holy Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta, Mr. Vasiliou, was attended by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, and the Deputy Mayor of the Municipal District of Frenaros, Mr. Costas Michael.
After the Divine Liturgy, a visit was made to the old Church of the Archangel Michael, an important Byzantine monument of the 12th century, which was recently preserved by the Department of Antiquities of the Deputy Ministry of Culture, contributing to the preservation of the religious, historical and cultural heritage of our country.
