The "Apoplous" workshop won many awards in the Pancyprian Robotics Competition (IMAGES + VIDEO)

Robotex Cyprus 22 organized by the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) celebrated its fifth birthday, as the largest educational robotics festival in Cyprus, as established since 2017.

This year's competition was attended by 625 robotic men and women, students, students and adults from all over Cyprus to compete with their robots in 20 different challenges.

According to the announcement, after the introductory speech of the President of CCS, Costas Agrotis, the event was greeted by Maria Miltiadou, Deputy Director of the Youth Organization, Professor George Chrysanthou on behalf of the Department of Informatics of the University of Cyprus and Director of Christou, President of IET Cyprus.

The two-day event was open to both the parents, relatives and friends of the contestants and to the general public who had the opportunity to watch robotic battles and visit robotics exhibitions.

There were many distinctions in the competition for the Cultural Workshop of Famagusta "Apoplous".

First place in Cyprus in the robotics competition Robotex Cyprus Robotex Cyprus 22 in the category Educational Robotics - Engino Mini, 1st-3rd Elementary, won the team Scientists.

The Apoplous workshop with the team Apoplous -Drones, won the 2nd place in Cyprus in the robotics competition Robotex Cyprus 22 Robotex Cyprus in the category Educational Robotics - Open.

First place in the category Color Picking - Primary, second place in the same competition Best of the best (Primary-High School).

Second place Pancyprian in our team Lego Stars in the Pancyprian Robotics Competition Robotex Cyprus 22, Robotex Cyprus in the category Educational Robotics -Lego Wedo, 1st-3rd Elementary.

The Apoplous Players team, in the Sumo category (4th-6th Elementary), after winning first place in their group, advanced to the quarterfinals where they lost to the Laouris 7 team.

The Apoplous_3 team also participated in the competition, in the category Educational Robotics (1st - 3rd Elementary).

With this victory, the children have the right to participate in the respective World Competition that will take place in November in Estonia.

The Pancyprian robotics competition, a competition organized by CCS since 2017 in collaboration with the NPO Robotex Estonia.

The event aims to promote and upgrade robotics in our country, while it is an important project that falls into various fields such as technology, education, training and youth.
