The Fire Department was put on alert after a fire broke out in Frenaros.
In his post, the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Giorgos Nikolettos, expresses his thanks to those who contributed to extinguishing the fire.
"Warm thanks to the staff of the Famagusta Fire Department, and especially to the Station Commander Mr. Giannakis Kapillas, as well as to firefighters Antonis Zakchaios, Konstantinos Papakonstantinou, Michalis Vasiliadis, Eleni Tsoukka and Kiki Antoniou, for their immediate and effective intervention in extinguishing the fire in Frenaros. Thanks to their timely and coordinated action, the destruction of four residences in our Municipal District was prevented. Special mention also deserves the staff and vehicles of the Municipality, whose contribution was decisive."
