The gold medal was won in the 100 and 200 meters by Giorgos Mavrou at the Pancyprian Special Olympic Games which took place today, 06/05/2025, at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.
Giorgos Mavrou, also known as Koumbaros, with tears in his eyes, finished in first place and was applauded by the entire stands.
The best man with the number 129 on his jersey, made a dynamic return to the games after several years and proved it with the gold medals.
