After five years of continuous contribution, collaboration and creation, George Dimitriou bids farewell to the position of President of the Parents' Association of the Irene and Freedom Deryneia Sotiras Middle and High School.
In a statement, the Parents' Association states that "his term was characterized by vision, action and dedication to the needs of students, parents and the school. With consistency, modesty and determination, he supported every educational and social initiative, strengthened the voice of parents and stood by the Management, the teachers and of course the students".
Furthermore, under his leadership, the Association was not limited to a decorative role. It organized, claimed, strengthened, awarded, upgraded. It managed to raise the bar so high that its example will be a guide and challenge for those who come after.
The announcement adds that "he left an indelible mark, not only on practical projects, but above all in the hearts of all of us. A big thank you from all the members of the parents' association!"
