After a long and unnecessary confrontation, a historic agreement was reached last week for the Famagusta District which definitively resolves the issue between the Famagusta Chamber of Commerce (EBEA) and the Famagusta Tourism Commercial Industrial Company (TEBEA).
With this agreement, which was unanimously ratified by the Boards of Directors of the two Organizations, the members of TEBEA will join the EBEA with the procedure provided by the EBEA statute.
The achievement of this agreement was accomplished in view of the need to enlist everyone in the struggle for the progress and development of the free Famagusta Province and the eventual return to its reigning city.
A new lease of life is being given to the Famagusta Province, as with the strengthening of the Famagusta Chamber with the support of its members and in cooperation with the KEBE and the support of the Municipalities, Communities and organized groups, the free Famagusta Province will claim and fight for what entitled, with a united spirit and common goals.
Warm congratulations are due to all those who contributed to the achievement of this agreement and especially to the Presidents and members of the Boards of Directors for their unanimous decision, putting above all the interest of Famagusta District.
