A 50-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of today on a warrant as part of a crime investigation.
The arrest of the 50-year-old was preceded yesterday afternoon by the discovery of a wooden boat, east of Cape Greco, in which there were 10 men in total, who were found to be illegal immigrants.
During the boat's stop, it was found that the navigator was 50 years old, against whom a court order was issued and he was arrested to facilitate the investigations.
The boat was transported to the fishing shelter of Agios Nikolaos in the area of Pernera in Paralimni and the ten men were transported to a temporary accommodation center for illegal immigrants.
