In a climate of emotion, respect and gratitude, an event was held organized by the Famagusta Branch Committee of Kindergarten Teachers in honor of the retiring teachers Mrs. Eva Costa, Inspector of Pre-Primary Education, Mrs. Paraskevoula Pitsiri and Mrs. Orthodoxia Hatzianastasis-Varnavas, recognizing their many years of valuable contribution to Pre-Primary Education.
Greetings were delivered by the President of the Famagusta Teachers' Association, Mr. Loukas Tsoukkas, and the President of the Famagusta Teachers' Association's Branch Committee, Mrs. Evi Isaac, who spoke warmly of the work, contribution and important imprint that the honored teachers leave in Pre-Primary Education.
Special mention was made by the speakers at the event to the Inspector of Pre-Primary Education, Mrs. Eva Costa, who praised her scientific training, insight, justice and humanity that characterized her long career. Her dedication to the upgrading of Pre-Primary Education and her long-standing support for teachers were also emphasized.
During the event, commemorative gifts, cards and flowers were presented to the honored teachers, as a sign of appreciation and gratitude for their contribution. A short video with photos and moments from Mrs. Eva Costa's professional career was shown, which moved those present.
The event concluded with a musical program, hosted by Mr. Michalis Hadjimichael, while a special touch was provided by the tsiattisto prepared and presented by fellow kindergarten teachers.
The Famagusta POED Kindergarten Teachers' Branch Committee expresses its warm thanks to the Famagusta POED District Committee for its support and contribution to the organization of the event.
The event was a small token of gratitude to the three teachers, who served Pre-Primary Education with dedication, ethics and love, leaving a significant mark on the field of education and on the lives of many children.
