The response of the people to the invitation of the Constantia Nautical Club, for participation in the charity swimming relay in memory of Iakovos Triaros, which will take place on Sunday, April 25 at 7 in the morning, is enormous.
The event to date counts more than 100 entries, while there are people who have already started making contributions to the published account. Somewhere here, let us remind you that all the proceeds of the event will be donated to KEPA AGIOS CHRISTOFOROS for the Center of Palliative Care under construction.
And we return to the event. The promotion of the event has "caught fire" on social media, with many of our fellow citizens promoting it, but also publicly challenging a friend to swim, essentially "sponsoring" his participation.
This in combination with the logo that many of our fellow citizens put in their photo on Facebook that reads "I swim with James", have given great momentum to the event, which if the rhythms we have so far continue, will be crowned with absolute success.
Also, organized groups, celebrities and officials such as the Minister of Transport, Giannis Karousos, have stated that they will take part in the event, a fact that gives ADDITIONAL shine, -since the event is already bright-, on the one hand because it is done in memory of the little Iakovos Triaros, and on the other hand because it is done with the aim of providing financial assistance to KEPA AGIOS Christoforos, in order to be able to offer in turn to our suffering fellow human beings.
In our communication with the organizers, they stressed that all protection measures will be observed to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus, so when the people declare their participation, you also inform about the time they have to attend.
With this and that, we in turn, urge all those who can and want to take part in this so important event to do so.
