Under the title "Turkish capital appropriated Cyprus", Avrupa writes today that after foreign investors, Turkey's capital has chosen the pseudo-state as its field of action, which the newspaper characterizes as a "third invasion of the island".

According to the ITP, the report added that Eden Corners is building a massive 720-apartment project in occupied Lefkoniko, saying it will transform the area into one of the most modern cities in the world. The publication states that the Eden Corners company plans to build 5500 homes in six projects that will be implemented within five years.

Addressing the investors during the presentation ceremony of the first stage of the project and at the opening of the company's office, Ersin Tatar invited them to invest in the properties.

According to the publication, due to rising prices in Turkey and difficulty in accessing loans, residential investors have evaluated their alternatives and turned to occupied properties.

Turkish real estate company Eden Projects says it is building an entire city, consisting of 720 "smart homes" in Lefkoniko and 14 homes with projects to be built in Trikomo, Morphou and Lefka. "The company will become the largest real estate company in the country with 14 thousand residences that will be implemented within five years. The project aims to produce 5500 homes within five years," the publication added.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the general manager of the Eden Project, Engin Altan said that occupied Cyprus has become a "favoured country" for investors in both tourism and real estate.

Referring to the project in the occupied Lefkoniko, Mr. Altan said that with Eden Corners the population will increase from 1253 people to 15-20 thousand.
