Forty-five hay bales, worth 1.500 euros, that were in a field in Liopetri, were burned last night.
Specifically, according to the Police, around 10:45 last night, a fire broke out in a field in Liopetri, which is the property of a resident of the village.
Members of the Police and the Fire Service rushed to the scene. The fire was extinguished. 45 big hay fights were burned, the value of which amounts to 1500 euros.
The scene is under guard and later today investigations will be carried out to determine the causes of the fire.
The case is being investigated by the Xylofagou Police Station.
