The most alternative recipes with the carrot as the main ingredient will have the opportunity to try those who will attend the 4th Pan-Cypriot Carrot Festival which will take place on Saturday 06/07 at the ACHYRONA Community Stadium in Liopetriou.
Acclaimed chef Andreas Paskouis and his team will present "About Liopetriou flavors" which includes recipes with carrot as the main ingredient, which are directly related to the gastronomy of Liopetriou. All recipes are based on the concept of zero waste.
The aim and objective of "About Liopetriou flavors" is the promotion and strengthening of the agricultural and local products of the municipal district of Liopetriou.
Also, organized groups and associations will sell various carrot preparations such as sweet and jam, carrot cakes (individual and family), carrot cake, carrot liqueur, donuts with carrot cream and jam, carrot burgers, donuts, ice cream, traditional pies, juices, margarita and carrot cocktail and more.
At the same time, there will be kiosks with souvlaki, kleftiko, hot dogs with coslaw salad, pickled carrots, fried carrots with eggs and various drinks.
The evening will culminate with the renowned Greek singer Nikos Makropoulos.
