With the participation of dozens of volunteers and organized groups, the cleaning of the area from Limanaki to Pernera beach took place today, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, as part of the Pan-Cypriot campaign "Let's Do it Cyprus 2024 - Clean - Live Cyprus in a week".
The campaign was attended by volunteer soldiers from the "Christos Karefyllidis" Fano Camp - Ayia Napa Naval Observatory, from the Responsible Unit 7th LBO (Modestos Pantelis - Liopetri Camp), staff from the "ATLANTICA CALLISTO" Hotel Unit, and the Presidents and Members of the Parents' Associations of the Ayia Napa Kindergarten and the "Antonis Tsokkos" Primary School of Ayia Napa.
In his statements, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannettou, thanked and congratulated all the volunteers who responded to the Municipality's call and participated in the cleaning campaign organized by the Municipality and who contributed the most to cleaning the area.
