The 4th Carrot Festival was successfully held on Saturday 06/07 at the ACHYRONA Community Stadium in Liopetriou.
The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panagiotou, the President of the EOA of Famagusta Yiannis Karousos, the Mayor of Agia Napa Christos Zannettos, MPs and Deputy Mayors are present at the Festival.
The public had the opportunity to try hot dogs with coleslaw, pickled carrots, carrot fritters with eggs, carrot cocktail, carrot burger, carrot treats and carrot donuts.
Acclaimed chef Andreas Paskouis and his team presented "Peri Liopetriou of flavors", recipes with carrot as the main ingredient and based on the concept of zero waste.
There was also a children's corner with fun activities for the little ones.
The evening was closed by the unique Greek artist Nikos Makropoulos who excited the audience.
