LIOPETRI: The blood donation was held in memory of the victims of the asphalt (PHOTO)

A blood donation in memory of members of the community who lost their lives in road conflicts took place yesterday in the event hall of the church of Panagia Eleusas in Liopetri.

The event was organized by the Famagusta Police Department in collaboration with the Liopetri Community Volunteering Council.

The aim of the event was to send a message of remembrance to the villagers who lost their lives unjustly on the asphalt and of support for their families, but also to raise awareness among the public, especially the young, about the prevention of road collisions.
