Preparations are in the final stretch for the established Carnival Parade "Ti Rio... Ti Leo!", which will take place on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Square of the Municipal District of Liopetri and is expected to impress those who attend it for another year.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa and returns for the tenth consecutive year, making it one of the most unique carnival events in Cyprus. It is a festive morning that combines tradition with modern entertainment, transforming the Central Square of Liopetri and Acropolis Avenue into a colorful scene full of color, music, laughter and creativity.
The Carnival Parade “Ti Rio… Ti Leo!” has now become an institution for the local community, as it brings young and old together, strengthens the feeling of togetherness and cooperation, while attracting hundreds of visitors. The participating groups are ready to give the audience a unique spectacle full of imagination and original performances, creating a festive atmosphere for everyone.
The event will feature a carnival parade, a mask contest for adults and a best carnival costume contest for children in the age categories 3-6, 7-12 and 12-18 years. Prizes and gift vouchers will be awarded to the first winners, while a gift will be offered to all children who participate. The event will be accompanied by a rich artistic program, further enhancing the festive atmosphere of the day.
