On June 13, 2024, an Open Event (Presentation of Potato Varieties) will be held by Optimus Land in Liopetri. Our goal is to get to know and promote 4 types of potato and therefore to promote the different varieties for each type of potato.
Advantages of each kind of variety:
• High Productivity and Quality
• Resistance to various diseases (therefore a reduced amount of pesticides is used)
• Availability of potatoes for any type of cooking depending on the consumer's preference
• High gastronomy
We would also like to point out that the company's intention is to promote Next Generation varieties, for sustainable development and high gastronomy.
The Open Event will be attended by, among others, potato producers, chefs, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste the world of the potato and in particular some of the varieties that are revolutionizing a once traditional sector.
The event will be open to the public.
