The Carnival parade of the Municipal District of Liopetri, entitled "Ti Rio... Ti Leo!", left the best impressions on the audience that flooded the central square.
The parade, which started at 11.00am from the "Achyronas" Community Stadium and ended at the Central Square of the Liopetri Municipal District, was attended by 12 amazing groups from the Municipal Districts of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, Achna, Liopetri, Ayia Napa and from the Community of Xylofagos, who offered a crazy extravaganza with their music, dance, brio and fun.
As the head of the judging committee, Deputy Mayor of Liopetri, Mr. Markos Koumis, mentioned, because all the floats and teams were excellent, the committee had a difficult time making the decision and gave the first prize to the Paso Libre Dance School, whose member will be crowned king or queen next year.
In their brief greeting, Deputy Mayors Sotiras and Achnas emphasized that all Municipal Districts of the Municipality of Ayia Napa should contribute to the further upgrading of the Carnival of the Municipal District of Liopetri and assured that they will do everything they can so that groups from their own districts can strengthen the Carnival parade in 2026 with their participation.
Also present at the Carnival parade was the Community Leader of Xylofagou, Mr. Ioulianos Georgios, whose community participated with three impressive groups. Mr. Ioulianos congratulated the organizers for the excellent organization and assured that Xylofagou will always be present at the Liopetri Carnival parade.
