The renovation works of the futsal field of the Municipal District of Liopetri were recently completed. As part of the renovation project, the field was fenced and solar panel lighting was installed, thus offering a modern, safe and environmentally friendly sports area for the children of the area.
The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, in his statements expressed his satisfaction with the completion of the project, emphasizing the fact that it is a project that will give children a modern and safe place to exercise, which at the same time utilizes renewable energy sources through the installation of solar panels.
“Sports,” he added, “is a key pillar for the healthy development of children and through such infrastructure we are essentially investing in the future of the new generation.” At the same time, he warmly thanked the Municipal District of Liopetri and the Famagusta District Administration for their cooperation, contribution and support in completing the project.
