At 07.53:200 on Saturday morning, the Fire Brigade responded to a fire in a 21-foot Four Wings HXNUMX petrol-powered marine vehicle on a boat trolley on the Liopetri River.

Members of the Police and the Fire Service from the Famagusta Fire Station responded with two staff fire trucks.

The fire and heat caused severe damage to the rear seats and part of the boat. The electrical installation of the machine was slightly damaged.

The fire was extinguished before the arrival of the Fire Brigade by the owner and attendees using water from the sea.

The fire was caused by fuel leaks and sparks.
