It is with deep sadness that the Community Council of Liopetriou announced that Maria Zeniou Mina from Kontea and after the Turkish invasion a resident of Liopetriou, aged 83, has passed away.
The funeral will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 15:00 p.m. from the Holy Church of Panagia Eleousa Liopetriou. The family will receive condolences at 14:00 p.m. Contributions will be made to Community institutions.
"Ms. Maroula", as she was known, worked as a teacher and then Principal at the First Primary School of Liopetriou. Full of kindness, patience and immense love for everyone. Quiet, discreet and humble.
