The AgaliaZO SKE of Liopetri of the Municipality of Ayia Napa is organizing on Saturday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m., at the AgaliaZO venue, a special event dedicated to the Elderly with the theme "Embracing the Elderly with the Power of Today". The event aims to inform and support the elderly and their caregivers, offering useful knowledge for their everyday lives.
Speakers at the event will be Dr. Angelis Panagis, Psychiatrist, on the topic of “Dementia – clarification of important terms and basic methods of treatment”, who will emphasize the prevention and support of people with dementia, Dr. Markos Kyriazis, Gerontologist, on the topic of “Caregiver Needs”, presenting strategies for supporting those who care for the elderly on both a practical and psychological level, and Andri Nikolaou, Director of AgaliaZO SKE Liopetri and Neighborhood Social Worker of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, on the topic of “The work of AgaliaZO”, who will highlight the actions and services that the center offers to the community.
The event is open to the public and the Municipality of Ayia Napa invites all those interested to learn about and support the lives of the elderly, with the aim of active and healthy aging.
