Police actions in the tourist area of Ayia Napa between the dates 26/5/23-29/5/23. In the context of the implementation of an action plan by the Famagusta Police Department in the tourist areas of Protaras and Agia Napa, with the aim of more effectively preventing and fighting crime and strengthening the sense of security and protection of citizens, coordinated operations were carried out with the participation of members of the police stations of Paralimni, Agia Napa but also members of OPE, TAE, Famagusta Traffic, Y.KA.N Famagusta, Y.A&M Famagusta as well as members of M.M.A.D.
In a campaign of the OPE Famagusta on smoking, its members went to various night entertainment centers in Ayia Napa and Protaras, where inside the premises various persons were identified who were smoking and violating the relevant legislation, resulting in their out-of-court complaint. Specifically, 11 out-of-court complaints were made.
