At around 6.20 yesterday afternoon, a wooden boat approached the sea area of Cape Greco, unharmed by the Police.
The boat was carrying a total of 29 people, 20 men, three women and six children.
The boat in question was escorted safely by police officers, to the fishing shelter in Paralimni, around 1.20 in the morning today.
All the migrants, after the necessary examinations, were transferred to the shelter in Pournara, while one of them, 44 years old, who was suspected of being the trafficker, was arrested on a warrant for his arrest.
The exams continue.
