Three patients who were treated with coronavirus at the General Hospital of Famagusta, which operates as a Referral Hospital, were discharged yesterday.

Information from KYPE states that after the examinations that were done in the three patients, they were found to be negative for the virus and they were discharged, returning to their home.

One of the patients is the taxi driver and his wife while the third person is 80 years old, who was one of the first cases of coronavirus to be transported to the Referral Hospital.

The results of the confirmatory examinations, which were performed yesterday on the three patients were negative, proof that they have been completely cured.

Meanwhile, another confirmed case of coronavirus, a 55-year-old man who presented with respiratory problems and fever, was transported today to Famagusta General Hospital.

An elderly woman is also expected to be transported to the Referral Hospital later tonight after she developed a fever.

The elderly woman's husband is also hospitalized and the condition of the other patients is considered very good, with mild symptoms of the disease.

At the same time, the health condition of a 70-year-old patient who was transferred to the Reference Hospital in the previous days from Paphos Hospital is still extremely critical. The 70-year-old was hospitalized in the ICU of Paphos Hospital in an adjoining bed by his 65-year-old compatriot.

It is noted that the health condition of the 70-year-old was extremely critical, due to a serious medical history, before he was even diagnosed positive in the coronavirus.
