As part of an investigation into the case of the arrival of illegal immigrants, the Police last night arrested a 37-year-old man, who allegedly helped third-country nationals to illegally enter the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
This morning the 37-year-old was brought before the District Court of Famagusta, which issued a five-day detention order against him.

It is noted that, in the last week, the Police proceeded to arrest four other persons, for the same crime, i.e. assisting third country nationals to illegally enter the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
