The Mayor of Deryneia, Andros Karagiannis, requests an upgrade of the Hemodialysis Unit of the General Hospital of Famagusta from OKYPY.

In a letter to the General Executive Director of the State Health Services Organization (OKYPY) with a notification to the General Director of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Karagiannis referred to the issue of upgrading the Hemodialysis Unit at the General Hospital of Famagusta and noted that Famagusta District where they mentioned "the multiple problems faced by hemodialysis patients due to outdated Solution Systems and Reverse Osmosis Hemodialysis in the public Hospital".

The Mayor of Deryneia calls on OKYPY to inform him "immediately about his actions regarding the purchase or replacement of the above used machines and the supply of the arrow system before we mourn the victims".
