The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is proceeding with the modernization of its beach cleaning infrastructure, with the procurement of new, latest generation waste bins, within the framework of the competition awarded to the company Demades Design Ltd.
The new bins, made of high-quality fiberglass, will replace the existing wooden bins, offering increased resistance to demanding coastal conditions, ergonomic design and a modern form without sharp edges. The new system provides greater flexibility in use, increased capacity and modern color options, while incorporating provisions for recycling through special color coding.

The signing of the contract took place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall, by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, in the presence of the Chief Designer / Director of Demades Design, Mr. Nikolas Dimades. The first delivery and installation of the new bins is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
