The Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, was recently appointed honorary professor of InterNapa College, located in the Sotiras Municipal District of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, during the graduation ceremony of his students, which took place recently in the College's ceremony hall.
Mr. Zannettou expressed his heartfelt thanks for the great honor of being named an honorary professor of the academic community of InterNapa College and being a member of this community.
He expressed special thanks to the founder and visionary of the college, Mr. George Ttakkas, who, as he said, more than 20 years ago created the first tertiary educational institution in the free province of Famagusta, which to this day supports our young men and women to pursue a specialized field of study.
"The dedication to providing high-quality education, the support and interest you have shown in the progress of our province have been and are decisive for the development of our country."
He also expressed his warmest wishes to everyone for the future and warmly congratulated both the professors and staff who supported and guided this educational path and wished all the graduates good luck, to move forward with courage and confidence for a better world for all.
"Our country and the world need young people who not only have knowledge, but also the moral responsibility to use it for the common good," concluded the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou.
