Pediatrician Adamos Hatzipanagis is the Director of the Pediatric Clinic of Larnaca Hospital. In November 2013 he was elected Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the European University of Cyprus.
Develops a range of national and European research programs, such as "Use and abuse of antibiotics in upper respiratory tract infections in children", "Smoke-free homes and cars" and "Indoor and outdoor air quality in schools". He is the coordinator for the European University of the Horizon 2020 program entitled "Evaluation of child health models".
He has published a large number of scientific articles and has given lectures at many international and national scientific conferences.
He has published a number of books for parents, such as the book "Pediatrics for All". An important achievement is the book European Mastercourse in Paediatrics, which is addressed to pediatricians in Europe, in which he is the author and editor.
Since December 2018, he has been the President of the European Academy of Pediatrics.
He represents the European Academy of Pediatrics in many international organizations such as the European Center for Disease Control (ECDC), the European Medicine Agency (EMA), etc.
