The long-awaited start of the year for the rally races is approaching, the start will be from the free area of Famagusta and the famous East Safari Rally. The race always attracts interesting contestants and spectators as it is the fastest of the calendar.

Technical points in the specials are alternated with points where very high speeds are developed and so the accuracy of the crew notes is very important, especially in cases where drivers have to brake properly at the end of each long straight line.
This year's race is identical to last year's with a last-minute change. Initially, the program included 12 special routes, but after the non-licensing for the special Kavo Greco, the organizers were forced to remove it from the program. So on Saturday, which included three recurring special stages, two repetitions will be held, the special Paralimnitika and the special Agia Thekla. These two specials will be repeated in the evening, half an hour later than the one you indicate in the official program.
SS1-SS3 Paralimnitika 14:55 / 18:05
This specialty was first used three years ago. It consists of fast straight lines that alternate with turns and proper braking is required, as with the slightest mistake there is the possibility of exit, resulting in valuable seconds being lost.
Access 1
From the village of Frenaros head to Liopetri. As soon as you leave Frenaros turn right on a dirt road despite the football fields. Drive straight for 1.7km on a dirt road and you will find yourself in the special.
Access 2
From the traffic lights of the village of Liopetri, reset the millimeter, head to the village of Avgorou and at 2km turn right on a dirt road. Go for 1.1km and you will be in the special.
SS2-SS4 Agia Thekla 15:21 / 18:31
This special was also used for the first time three years ago and consists of a mixed surface (soil-asphalt) with very fast straight lines which require abrupt braking and good entry in turns. The start is between the villages of Sotira and Liopetri.
Access
Located on the Larnaca highway in the direction of Ayia Napa, exit the village of Sotira. Drive for 3.4km, turn left and at the end of the road turn left again where you will be in the special. There you can see the racing on the right spectacular hairpin.
SS5-SS8 Halloween 09:43 / 12:18
The highlight of the race. This special does not require recommendations. Together with the special Agia Thekla they are the longest in length and the races develop speeds of more than 200 km. The most exciting point is undoubtedly the hairpin at about 3/4 of the way.
Access 1
From the center of Frenaros village, turn to the sign in the direction of the village of Vrysoulles. Drive for 4km and turn left on asphalt on the sign Panagia Asprovouniotissa. Continue straight and you will be in the well-known hairpin.
Access 2
From the center of Frenaros village, turn to the sign in the direction of the village of Vrysoulles. Proceed for 2.1km and then turn left on a dirt road where at 400m you reach the special. There you can see an impressive right turn.
SS6-SS9 Ammunition 10:16 / 12:51
Another quick special which at 3/4 is parallel to the coastline, with a panoramic view of the sea. This year the starting point is between the villages of Xylofagou and Ormidia and the special is in the opposite direction compared to previous years. The finish is next to the church of Panagia Evangelistria where in the previous years there was the start.
Access 1
Located on the highway from Ayia Napa to Larnaca, exit the Ormidia exit. Pass over the flyover and at the end of the road turn left and then immediately to the right next to the football stadium of Ormidia. At the end of the road turn right again and then at the next end of the road zero the millimeter and turn left in the direction of Xylofagou. Go for 2.4km and then turn right onto a dirt road. Go straight and you will find yourself in the special where you can see the racing turn to the right turn and then pass under a bridge.
Access 2
Located on the highway from Ayia Napa to Larnaca, exit the Ormidia exit. Pass over the flyover and at the end of the road turn left and then immediately right next to the stadium of Ormidia. At the end of the road turn right again and then at the next end of the road zero the millimeter and turn left in the direction of Xylofagou. Proceed for 1.5km and then turn right onto a dirt road. In the fork go left and in the next fork go left again. After 200m you will be in the special where you can see the races in an impressive left downhill turn.
SS7-SS10 Agia Varvara-Dasaki 10:49 / 13:24
Technical route which alternates with straight through trees. The most spectacular point is about 1.5km from the start. You can see the racing in a very technical part go through two turns.
Access
You pass the exit for Ayia Napa to Paralimni in the direction of the roundabout of Ayia Napa. After 1.7km and before the roundabout exit the exit and walk to the special.
Pay attention and listen to security judges. Don't stand in dangerous places because danger always lurks. Due to the nature of the special routes, you can watch the race from a safe distance without risk.
