Paralimni: The program for "DIMITRIA 2022" has been announced

After the passing, due to the pandemic, of two special years in which due to the problem it was not possible to hold the "DIMITRIES" to the extent of the previous years, this year the public deserves to participate more massively in all the events of honor to the patron Saint of the parish.

The Dimitrios events began on October 6, with the start of the new Catechetical year, with consecration and a speech by Mr. Iraklis Vassiliou.

On Tuesday, October 11, a football championship followed in memory of Iakovos Triaros.

On Friday, October 21, there will be a vigil for the Feast of All Saints from 9:00 pm until 12:30 am on Saturday.

On Saturday, October 22, the sacrament of Agios Euchelios will be celebrated immediately after Vespers.

On Sunday, October 23, there will be a procession of the miraculous icon of Panagia Esfagmeni

On Tuesday, October 25, there will be a solemn High Priestly Vespers and Litanization of the icon of Saint Demetrius. After vespers, various foods will be sold and all proceeds will be donated to needy families in the parish.

On Wednesday, October 26, the High Priestly Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Trimythoundas, Mr. Varnavas, while at vespers at 17:30 p.m., a prayer will be offered to Agios Dimitrios.

On Sunday, October 30, a Kittoric memorial service will be held.
