The Municipal Councilor of Paralimni, Loizos Loizou, described his own adventure with the coronavirus on social media.
Among other things, he states that the vaccine has saved him from the worst, since he kept his oxygen high.
"Respect for those who do not wish to be vaccinated is enough to have the appropriate respect for the decision of the majority that chose to be vaccinated," he says characteristically about what is said and written daily.
The reason that led him to publish his adventure, was the death of his friend George Demetriou and what was published for the advice of doctors and priests.

"My little adventure
On the 15th of August and after my three children were already ill, I was found, after daily tests, positive in the coronary artery. I completed my vaccination schedule in April, my wife in July and two of my three children started it in July and August respectively.
On the 2nd day the symptoms started, malaise, fever, bone pain, no sense of smell, no taste at all, no appetite for food at all (this proved to me that things will be difficult). It was not intense but it was obvious.
Until the 4th to the 5th day it was flu, although even the headache was strange, strange, it was not the common headache. Generally the body and mind went into inactivity.
My thinking weakened and I realized that my mind could not control things.
On the 5th day and after and until the 9th my forces abandoned me completely, both physically and mentally. I think I was torturing that he was near me, next to me. My loved ones, those who were next to me and those who were mentally next to me. The fevers did not go down while the bone pains were unbearable.
I'm sure I was talking and I had to say different things, no one told me anything about his experiences with me yet.
Saturday, August 21 was the worst day, in the afternoon my wife took me to the referral hospital to assess the condition. The doctor at the unit examined me thoroughly and told me after an hour that I had to return home. He explained various things to me, he explained to me as well as other friends, doctors and nurses why I was lucky? How and why the vaccine protected me, how it created a shield of protection in my system and my OXYGEN was always high.
It is true that all the difficult days I was comforted by the thought that some people are being tortured and endangered in the hospital, away from their families.
The 10th day was somewhat magical, as my personal doctor, my beloved Antonis Artymatas (nurse at the referral hospital), my favorite acquired uncle and doctor Michalis Zouvanis, my beloved, my savvy spiritual Father Anastasios Isaac, and the My researcher, Fotini.
The reverse course began. Recovery, mind and body began to return. I know it will take me days. Patience, the time of full recovery will come !!!

I did not intend to make my experience public but the death of George Dimitriou's friend shocked me, I was shocked by the way he left, I was shocked by the irresponsibility of some clergymen and some doctors who easily spread irresponsibly the clever and I believe them without documentation. The religious saying says Listen and do not search NO Listen and do not search.
We must not be helpless, I must investigate, read and listen to those who present facts. We are not lambs so we do not follow the herd with the helpless beings who just burst with joy because they became a mob.

It does not bother me that you drink and smoke, that you eat whatever you get out of the box, but do not bother me that I decided to get vaccinated and sign that my children should be vaccinated as well. It is a conscious, personal choice.
Yes I know I was saved from the worst because I was vaccinated. But I got stuck because someone irresponsible refused to sign in order to vaccinate her child, and from somewhere there I got stuck too.
Think again, I may be a little educated, I may be a mediocre Orthodox Christian with little faith in God.
