On August 10, the motorcyclists arrive on the island and become one with the locals. However, due to the tense climate and following international and domestic pressures, the Cyprus Motorcyclists' Federation cancels part of the protest. However, the decision is not accepted by everyone and so a group of motorcyclists decides to continue the march towards the occupied areas.
One of them was 24-year-old Tassos Isaac.
But at least 1.000 Turkish Cypriots were waiting for them there, among them many fans of the "Gray Wolves", who had arrived from Turkey.
The conflict within the dead zone and the savage murder
Greek Cypriot protesters from an unguarded military outpost entered the UN dead zone, the so-called "Green Line".
The evil did not take long to happen… The situation went away for good when around 4 in the afternoon a group of Turkish Cypriots managed in turn to enter the dead zone.

Violent and hated Turks and Turkish Cypriots fell on him and beat him to death. Police present the pseudo-states and two Irish police officers, members of the UN International Peacekeeping Force (UNFICYP).
Tassos Isaac breathed his last 95 meters from the free zones and 32 from the occupied ones, according to the OHE report. A total of 54 Greek Cypriots, 17 Turkish Cypriots and 12 members of the peacekeeping force were injured in the general clash in the dead zone.
The child who did not manage to see…
The funeral of Tassos Isaac took place in a pandemic on August 14th. A tragic figure is his wife, who was pregnant with their first child. A few days later after her father has left and is registered in the pantheon of heroes, little Anastasia comes into the world. Tassos Isaac's daughter was moved… "Someone dies only when we forget him"
After the funeral, his angry cousin Solomos Solomos, 26, tried to remove a Turkish flag from a "Green Line" outpost, to fall dead from fire from the occupied territories.

The international warrants of unpunished murderers
On November 22, 1996, the Cypriot Police issued an international arrest warrant for the assassination of Tassos Isaac against:
- Hasim Gilmaz, a resident and former MIT official (Turkish KYP)
- Neifel Mustafa Ergun, a Turkish resident and a pseudo-state police officer
- Polat Fikret Koreli, Turkish Cypriot from Famagusta
- Mehmet Mustafa Arslan, Turkish settler and leader of the "Gray Wolves" in the Occupied Territories
- Erhan Arikli, a Turkish settler from the former Soviet Union. Arikli was arrested in September 2012 in Kyrgyzstan, but was released under pressure from Turkey.
On June 24, 2008, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) found Turkey guilty of killing Tasos Isaac under Article 2 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. He also awarded monetary compensation to the family of Tassos Isaac.
