The Municipality of Paralimni-Dheryneia informs the public that in the Kapparis area, Potamia beach has been designated as a dog-friendly beach and sunbeds and umbrellas have been installed, which are provided free of charge to visitors, as well as toilets.

It clarifies that the passage and bathing of dogs is only permitted on the specific beach in the marine area of ​​the Municipality of Paralimni-Dheryneia.

Dogs allowed on the beach must be registered, vaccinated and the owners must bring with them the relevant health certificates/booklet.

For safety reasons, dogs must be leashed when on the beach and aggressive dog breeds must wear a muzzle.

Dog owners are required to clean up their dogs' waste and prevent them from defecating in the sea.

Violation of the above regulations will result in the imposition of a fine on the dog's handler by the Local Authority.
