The Municipality of Famagusta and the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia are reviving today, Sunday, May 10, 2026 at 4 pm on Kapparis Avenue, the Famagusta Flower Festival.
The great flower festival will begin with a procession of marching bands and floats, decorated with flowers, along Kapparis Avenue, symbolically heading towards occupied Famagusta.
Afterwards, in the parking lot on Kapparis Avenue, an artistic musical program will take place with the participation of the Famagusta Municipality Choir, under the direction of Nikos Vichas.
Greetings will be delivered by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, the Mayor of Famagusta, Mr. Simos Ioannou, and the Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Irini Piki.
The event will culminate with a grand concert with Stavros Konstantinou and Andris Karantonis.
The Famagusta Flower Festival is under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides.
The event will be broadcast live on ANT1 television, which is the communication sponsor.
