The Municipality of Paralimni gives clarifications on the legality of its actions regarding the announcement of offers for the provision of facilities at beach points within its municipal boundaries.

He adds that "On December 2, 2021, the Municipal Council unanimously decided to announce bids for the provision of facilities in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Beach Protection and the relevant regulations and determined the budget for each beach. On December 22, 2021, at a meeting of the Municipal Council, the Mayor of Paralimni, submitted a written proposal and asked the Municipal Council to review the budget of the competition ".
According to the announcement "The Municipal Council asked for time to study the issue and decided to convene a new session to examine it. "At the meeting convened by the Mayor on December 29, with the sole issue of permitting facilities, only five members attended, including the Mayor, with the result that it was canceled."
On December 31, 202, it is noted in the announcement "The Tender Committee of the Municipality of Paralimni met, which, fully respecting the decisions of the Municipal Council and the relevant legislation, after a written legal opinion, unanimously approved the terms of the tender after taking into account everything provided by the relevant legislation."
