The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia recently proceeded to award plaques to repeat visitors.
In particular, honorary plaques were awarded to the couple Pamela and Vincent Parsons from the United Kingdom as well as to the couple Dida and Andrea Ioannou who reside permanently in Switzerland. Both couples have visited Protaras more than fifty times.
The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia thanked the two pairs of visitors for the love they show to the tourist resort of Protaras as well as to the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia in general and stated that the Municipality has started again to demonstrate its appreciation to the consecutive visitors who are ambassadors of Protaras abroad as they prove that it is a tourist resort that foreign visitors wish to visit continuously.
