The Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nicolettos, met with the grandson of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated in 1995, two years after the signing of the Oslo Peace Agreement with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. During the meeting, Mr. Bernazi expressed his admiration for the area of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and especially for the tourist resort of Protaras, while an exchange of views took place regarding ways to attract large investments to the area that will contribute to economic, social and cultural development.
