The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has proven that it makes continuous efforts to upgrade the services provided on the beaches to better serve visitors.
Recently, the phenomenon of the presence of loose stones in the sea at a distance of 5-6 meters from the shore on a well-known beach has been observed, and this resulted from the movement of sand due to adverse weather conditions.
The Municipality, in consultation with the Famagusta District Governor, proceeded without the use of machinery but with the dedicated efforts of the Municipality's staff to collect several loose stones, for the unhindered passage of the public to the sea but also with the aim of ensuring the safety of bathers.
