The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia informs residents and visitors that, in relation to the recent events concerning RAF Akrotiri and broader security issues related to the British Bases, it is in constant and direct communication with both the British Bases in Cyprus and the competent services of the Republic of Cyprus.
According to information received by the Municipality, there is no reason for concern for residents and visitors to our area. The competent authorities are constantly evaluating the data and taking all necessary preventive measures within the framework of existing safety protocols.
The Municipal Authority is responsibly and calmly monitoring developments and remains in a state of heightened alert, in order to respond immediately to any new data or instructions issued by the competent state and military authorities.
