The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia proceeded with the installation of LED technology lighting with solar energy in parks and parking areas. Specifically, lighting systems were installed in the Orchard with Oranges in Agios Georgios Square and in the municipal parking lot on Makariou Street in Paralimni as well as in the park near the "Naufsika" hotel in Protaras.
In this way, the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia installs lighting in public spaces where it did not exist in the past, while at the same time it contributes to saving electricity by utilizing renewable energy sources.
The Municipality will soon proceed with larger projects to install smart electricity saving solutions in public spaces.
