The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia has begun the installation of wooden signs indicating the place names of the Municipality. The installation has begun and will continue on the beaches of the Municipality in order to better inform local and foreign visitors about the correct names of the areas and beaches where they are located.
At the same time, directional signs will be placed on the main roads, to guide visitors to the beaches of the Municipality.
The entire action is being carried out in collaboration with Mrs. Despo Farkoni Efthymiou who, with her late husband Efthymiou Efthymiou and after thorough research, had written the book "The Place Names of Paralimni".
