The intervention of the Fire Service in the province of Famagusta was needed due to the heavy rainfall.

Specifically, according to the spokesman of the Fire Brigade, the members of the Service responded to a total of three incidents of pumping rainwater in the Municipality of Paralimni, Deryneia and Sotira.

There were also calls for flooded roads and the local authorities were informed about the handling and opening of the wells.
