The Mayor of Kastoria, Mr. Yiannis Korentsidis, visited Paralimni on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The visit took place within the framework of the twinning that the Municipalities of Kastoria and Paralimni have had since 2008.
Both the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, and the Mayor of Kastoria reaffirmed their will to resume contacts through cultural events and exchange of know-how in sectors that connect the two Municipalities.
Present at the meeting held at the Municipal Hall were the Deputy Mayors of Paralimni, Deryneia, Frenaros and Acheritos as well as members of the Municipal Council.
It is recalled that cultural collaborations and exchanges between the two municipal authorities began in 2007 with the collaboration of the Cultural Laboratory "Para ti Limni" (Paralimni) with the Kastoria Cultural Development Group "Myesis" and were established with the twinning of the two Municipalities in 2008.
