The Pages of Historical Memory and Representation (S.I.M.A.) in collaboration with the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia are organizing the 2nd Pancyprian Festival of Historical Memory from March 27 to April 5, 2026.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 7pm at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall.
During the Festival, a historical memory exhibition will be held in the event hall of the Municipal Hall with representations and models relating to the National Liberation Struggle of EOKA (1955–1959), as well as events of the Turkish invasion. The exhibition will be open to the general public with free admission, while special emphasis will be placed on the possibility of organized visits by school students, with an educational and experiential nature.

The organization of the Festival constitutes an essential initiative to preserve and highlight collective historical memory, especially for the younger generations, noting that the Municipality supports and will continue to support actions that promote historical knowledge, national self-awareness and respect for the sacrifices of the past.
