The Organizing Committee of the 4th Conference "Paralimni - History and Culture" met on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Paralimni - Deryneia Town Hall, with the aim of planning and organizing the event.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Paralimni-Dheryneia, Mr. George Nikolettos, as well as the members of the conference's organizing committee, Mr. Marinos Pavlikkas, Irini Skitsa Hadjiagathangelou, Andreas Economou, Spartiatis Nikolettos, Andreas Papaphilippou, Andreas Evangelou, Despo Farkoni Efthymiou and Angelos Smagas.
During the meeting, the thematic sections of the Conference were approved: Ancient History, Modern History (1974) and Folklore, while the main speakers for each section were determined. Particular emphasis was given to the Modern History section, which will include a variety of topics.
The Conference will take place on 21–22 March 2025 and will be part of the national celebrations. It was also decided to explore the digital posting of the minutes of the previous three Conferences.
The Organizing Committee continues preparations to ensure the success of the Conference, maintaining as its main goal the promotion of the history and culture of Paralimni.
