A press conference for the presentation of the Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix 2026, organized by the Cyprus Amateur Athletics Federation in collaboration with the National Guard, the Cyprus Police and the Municipalities of Paralimni - Deryneia, Larnaca, Strovolos, Paphos and Amathus, was held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in the GSP meeting room.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, which is hosting the race on April 26, 2026 in Protaras, was represented by the Mayor Mr. George Nikolettos who, in his greeting, highlighted the cooperation that the Municipality has with KOEAS as well as the efforts to place Cyprus on the map of sports tourism and major international sports events through the sports events that are attracted.
It is noted that the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia will host the race on April 26, 2026 in Protaras with 10, 5 and 1 kilometer races.
