In a climate of euphoria, the contracts for the construction of a Marina at the Fishing Shelter of Agios Nikolaos were recently signed at the Municipal Palace of Paralimni.
This is a project worth 110 million euros and will include 300 berths and building facilities. The first phase will be ready in 2020 and the rest in 2013.
The Minister of Trade and Energy, George Lakkotrypis, signed with the director of PMV MARINATE HOLDING LTD Anthoulis Kountouris, in the presence of the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Theodosi Tsiola.
The Mayor of Paralimni expressed his satisfaction for the current signing of the contracts, while the massive presence of community leaders and agents of the Province of Famagusta, shows the great importance that the Province attaches to this project.
